The Second Wisconsin DesignPro Tools User’s Group Meeting

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is pleased to host the second meeting of the Wisconsin DesignPro Tools User’s Group.

Anyone interested in Elixir DesignPro Tools, print-to-mail application development, or AFP technology is welcome to attend. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Elixir Technologies has been a strong partner in this effort and we are grateful for all their help and support. Eva Gailey and Kathy Dell have developed an impressive agenda for this meeting.

When: Thursday, October 1, 2009. 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (draft agenda [PDF 17KB])

Where: This meeting will be in "GEF1", which is home to Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and the Department of Workforce Development. For those of you who attended the first Wisconsin DesignPro User's Group Meeting in March, GEF1 is located across the street from the Department of Natural Resources Building. Access this building from the Visitor's Entrance on East Washington Avenue.

Registration

Participants should use this web page to pre-register. Registration should be submitted no later than September 25th. The $20 registration fee should be pre-paid if possible. This fee pays for meeting materials and a working lunch. Registration will also enable access to the building.

What you need to know:

  • All are welcome...the only requirement is an interest in DesignPro Tools and AFP/Xerox outputs. Participants should use this web page to pre-register no later than September 25th. The $20 registration fee should be pre-paid if possible, as explained on the registration form. This fee pays for meeting materials and a working lunch. Registration will also enable access to the building.
  • "GEF1" has secure entry. All attendees will need to use the Visitor's Entrance, and access the building from East Wisconsin Avenue (one block off of the Capitol Square) and obtain a day-pass to the building. Please stop at the reception desk on the first floor to obtain your access card. Room D203 is on the second floor. Please use the elevators.
  • We are looking for one or two participants to provide 20 minute presentations on a challenging application that they developed. Please contact Tim Weiss to discuss the possibility of presenting in the afternoon.
  • Parking in downtown Madison can be problematic. Please see the map provided for the location of 2 public parking ramps located short distances from GEF1.
