Laurel Sukup

Laurel Sukup is working with the wood products industry. Her goal is to partner with affiliated trade associations, other state agencies and interested governmental bodies to share valuable waste minimization and environmental management information. Laurel, a geologist by education, began her career with the Department of Natural Resources in 1992 in the Solid and Hazardous Waste Program in Milwaukee. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to Rhinelander to assume duties as a hydrogeologist in the Environmental Repair Program. Just prior to rejoining DNR as a Business Sector Specialist, Laurel spent two years with the Division of Environmental & Regulatory Services at the Department of Commerce.
