Exam Dates

Exams are held at 6 different locations across the state (one in each region).

The DNR will send an exam application 2 months prior to the upcoming exam date to those operators that have taken an exam(s) in the last 3 exam cycles. Operator addresses need to be kept current, so please contact your regional coordinator if your address has changed.

An operator who has not taken an exam in the last three exam cycles and new operators may download an exam application from the forms page. Applications become available 2 1/2 months prior to the exam date.
