Groomers were able to set track on all the ski trails on February 3. Stride and skate trails are rated as good at this time. The snowmobile trails in the park are still closed. The tower is closed for the winter, as well as the road leading to it (North Norway Road). FishingA few ice fishermen are on Sturgeon Bay. Remember to use caution when going out on the ice, especially near the shipping channel.

Drinking water, a shelter with fireplace, and vault toilets are in the campground area. The shower building, sanitary dump station, and campground wells are closed for the season. The North Campground (sites 82-125) and the Group Campground are closed for the season. Sites may be reserved for dates up to 11 months in advanced.
