Trails

Cross-country ski trails are groomed, tracked, and in fair condition.

Camping

The family and group campgrounds are closed for the season. Sites can be reserved 11 months in advance online or by calling (888) 947-2757.

More Information

Ice drags are tentatively scheduled for February 6 and 13.

Admission stickers are required on all vehicles year-round. You can self-register at the flag pole or by going to the winter office in the shop area of the park. Annual stickers for 2010 are available now and are valid from date of purchase through December 31, 2010.

Calendars are also available for purchase. All proceeds from calendar sales go the Friends of Council Grounds State Park. If you would like to become a Friend of Council Grounds, please contact the park at (715) 536-8773.
