Mirror Lake State Park Conditions
Conditions as of Wednesday, February 3, 2010:
Trails
All cross-country ski trails are in good condition. We received 1-2 inches of new snow on Tuesday, improving conditions especially for classical skiing. Trails are being groomed today and the base is holding at 4 to 8 inches. Trails are groomed for classical and skate skiing. Please stop by the office or print out a new trail map [PDF 1MB].
The Friends of Mirror Lake State Park will be hosting a candle light ski/snowshoe/hike on Feb. 6 from 6-8 pm.
Mountain bike trails are closed for the season.
Fishing
The Mirror Lake Fisheree, sponsored by the Lake Delton Sportsman Club, is scheduled for Sunday, January 17.
Camping
Campsites 58 through 76 in Sandstone Campground are open for winter camping. Blue Water Bay and Cliff Wood campgrounds are closed for the season.
Reservations can be made for dates in 2010 online or by calling (888) 947-2757, TTY (800) 274-7275.
Reservations for the accessible cabin will be accepted beginning January 10, 2010.
Visitor Center
The Mirror Lake Visitor Center is the place to go for park information, to register for camping, and to buy a vehicle admission sticker. Annual stickers for 2010 are available now and are valid through December 31, 2010.
