Detailed information: These rules may modify season dates, bag limits, and other regulations for the duck and goose hunting seasons, most of which begin in September. These seasons are part of the federal migratory bird season frameworks and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) needs to be informed of the State of Wisconsin Natural Resources Board decisions on these seasons in the spring season of 2019.

Detailed information: The City of Onalaska passed a resolution proposing the formation of a La Crosse Area Metropolitan Sewerage District. The proposed district would encompass the City of La Crosse, City of Onalaska, Town of Shelby, Town of Campbell, and, by interstate compact, the City of La Crescent, Minn. The affected communities are all currently served by the City of La Crosse's Isla La Plume Wastewater Treatment Facility, which discharges to the Mississippi River and is located 905 Joseph Houska Drive in La Crosse, Wis.

Detailed information: The Village of Sussex operates a 5.1 MGD wastewater treatment plant with a design capacity of 6,790 lbs/day BOD. The plant serves approximately 15,900 people and 2 significant industries including the Village of Sussex; the Village of Lannon; a portion of the Village of Menomonee Falls; and the Lisbon Sanitary District. Discharge is to Spring (Sussex) Creek (Upper Fox (IL) Watershed, Fox (IL) River Basin) in Waukesha County. Changes to the current permit include a proposed Chloride Variance.

As a result of a court-approved stipulation filed on April 4, 2017, the department is proposing rules to establish a phosphorus site-specific criterion in place of the generally applicable phosphorus criteria.

Changes from the previous permit include a proposed Phosphorus Variance.
