Detailed information: The first draft of the Wisconsin Ruffed Grouse Management Plan 2020 - 2030 was developed by the DNR Ruffed Grouse Advisory Committee. The plan is intended to both guide future management actions and provide the interested public a concise and informative overview of ruffed grouse ecology and management in Wisconsin. Meetings are being held to present a draft of the Wisconsin Ruffed Grouse Management Plan 2020-2030 and collect public input. Additional meetings will be held Aug. 21 in Black River Falls and Aug. 22 in Rhinelander. For information see ruffed grouse management.

Detailed information: The Brownfields Study Group was created in 1998 at the direction of the Governor and State Legislature, to evaluate Wisconsin's current brownfields initiatives and recommend changes, as well as propose additional incentives for the cleanup and reuse of abandoned or underused properties with real or perceived contamination. The VPLE Subgroup is examining issues related to the state's Voluntary Party Liability Exemption program.
