Ice Age Trail Hike

-

Description

Join the Lakeshore Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance for a guided hike on the Ice Age Trail within Potawatomi State Park. The hike will cover a brief history of the park, as well as spring wildflower identification. The full hike is 2.8 miles; there will be a shuttle available at the halfway point for those who wish to only do half. Long pants, sturdy footwear and water are recommended. Most of the hike is relatively flat, with some sections containing steep inclines and/or declines. Meet at the Ice Age Trail eastern terminus, at the Old Ski Hill overlook, at Potawatomi State Park.
